| Area VIP Coordinator - volunteer will be trained as an AYSO VIP Coordinator, and will be responsible for overseeing the AYSO VIP program at the Area level. Additionally, the Area VIP Coordinator will provide support to the Region VIP Coordinators as required. The AYSO VIP program offers the AYSO youth soccer experience to children with special needs. |

| Section 11 Road Show - 1st Edition (Grossmont High School - La Mesa) |

The 1st Section 11 Training Road Show kicks off March 19 & 20, 2010 at Grossmont High School in La Mesa, CA. Management training will be provided to meet the training and certification requirements for all AYSO board members. All AYSO board members are encouraged to attend the position specific training in accordance with the training requirements stated in the AYSO job description.

The Area R elections were conducted during the Area R meeting on January 21, 2010. Cruzanne Conrique was elected as the new Area Director. Cruzanne's 3 - year term will commence in March 2010. Congratulations Cruzanne! We look forward to your leadership.
